About the Role
We are looking for a creative and commercially driven Social Media & Content Manager to lead our Chinese content strategy across key social media channels, with a focus on overseas Chinese audiences.
This role will translate brand strategy, product messaging and campaign priorities into engaging, culturally relevant content across key platforms, including RedNote, WeChat, and other relevant Chinese-language social channels.
You will own the Mandarin content calendar, plan and publish social content, support campaign execution, monitor social trends and help grow our Chinese-language community presence. You will work closely with the Brand, Sales, and Commercial teams to drive engagement, brand awareness, and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute Mandarin content strategy aligned with brand and commercial objectives
· Create and localise content across social and digital platforms
· Manage content calendars, publishing schedules, and ongoing optimisation across channels
· Translate global brand campaigns into culturally relevant Chinese storytelling
· Plan content themes, campaign moments, product education and platform-specific content formats
· Collaborate closely with Brand and Sales teams to support product launches, seasonal campaigns, livestream and other commercial activities.
· Monitor content performance and use insights to optimise engagement, conversion and content quality
· Track trends across Chinese social media platforms and apply best practices
· Maintain content compliance awareness, especially around product claims, health, wellness, and consumer goods messaging
About You
· Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English
· Experience in content marketing, social media, or digital marketing
· Strong understanding of Chinese digital platforms and ecosystems
· Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills
· Commercial mindset with ability to align content to business outcomes
· Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross functionally
· Experience in consumer-facing industries (retail, health, FMCG) is highly desirable
